"Broadcasting Station Occupy" Finally Moves For "Miyake" Yoshida Mebuki, Viewers Say "Something's Going On"

The ninth episode of the drama series "Broadcasting Station Occupy" (NTV, Saturdays at 9 PM), starring Sakurai Sho, aired on September 13th. The episode featured a scene in which Miyake Suzu (Yoshida Mebuki), an SSBC intelligence analyst at the Metropolitan Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division, volunteers to investigate at the agency of influencer Manabe (Miyabe Nozomi), which sparked a stir on social media.

In episode 9, Musashi (Sakurai) and his team, trying to uncover the true identity of the "puppeteer" who is controlling everything behind the scenes, agree to a request from Hannya Ibuki (Kato Seishiro) to carry out a "hostage exchange" to hand over the custody of security chief Yashiro (Takahashi Katsunori). Izumi (Sonin) plans a top-secret operation to infiltrate the SAT using the hostage exchange, but fails. Yashiro aims at Ibuki with the gun he stole from the demon during the exchange, but is shot by the demon Ruka (Himari Hitomi).

Yamato (Fuma Kikuchi) then teaches Musashi how to get into the broadcasting station without being noticed by the demons. In order to put an end to everything, Musashi teams up with Yamato again to infiltrate the broadcasting station.

Meanwhile, Ibuki reveals the existence of a "dark data repository" that contains evidence of the crimes that the puppeteer has concealed, and demands that Musashi find out who the puppeteer is. Ibuki then gives a hint that the puppeteer's true identity can be discovered by investigating Amami (played by Shigeyuki Totsugi), Okino (played by Reiko Kataoka), and Manabe, and holds a "death press conference" with the three of them lined up.

In order to discover the identity of the puppeteer, Musashi and Yamato decide to investigate Amami. Izumi then instructs Amakusa (Sota Ryosuke) to investigate Okino's past. Meanwhile, upon learning that the agency Manabe belongs to has many influencers, Miyake mutters, "Influencers..." and volunteers to go to the agency to investigate.

After Izumi gave his permission, Shima (Gunpii-san) asked, "Shall I come too?" Miyake smiled and said, "This is where you belong, Shima-san," and headed off to Manabe's office.

On social media, many people were saying that Miyake's sudden actions were suspicious, as he had previously been concentrating on analyzing information at the command headquarters. Comments included, "What is Miyake's mysterious behavior?", "Miyake's sudden outing seems suspicious," "Miyake's response to influencers is suspicious, and there seems to be some hidden meaning behind him saying that Shima's location is here," "Miyake is always suspicious," "I wonder if Miyake is a member of another armed group..." and "There seems to be something more going on."
