It has been announced that a 13-minute digest version of the first episode, "The Birth of Anpanman," of the TV anime series "Soreike! Anpanman" (NTV), based on the popular picture book by Takashi Yanase, will be streamed for the first time on YouTube from noon on September 19th. This year marks the 38th anniversary of the TV anime's first broadcast, and the memorable first episode, which aired on October 3rd, 1988, will be streamed.
The first episode, "The Birth of Anpanman," depicts the adorable story of Anpanman, who was born when the Star of Life fell into bread baked by Uncle Jam, and begins his journey as everyone's hero.
Starting at noon on September 19th, the 300th episode, "The Secret of Rollpanna," which aired in 1994, will also be streamed for the first time for one week only. The episode tells the story of how Rollpanna was born when Uncle Jam tried to create a new friend using "Makoto-gus" (heart-hearted grass) and Baikinman mixed in "Baikin-gus" (germ-grass). Starting at noon on September 26th, "Uncle Jam and Black Rollpanna," which aired in 2016, will be streamed.
On October 3rd, the anniversary of the broadcast's launch, "Anpanman Day," a TV special featuring Rollpanna will be broadcast. Details will be announced on the "Soreike! Anpanman" program airing on September 26th, as well as on the official website.
