The voice actors for the Shiba Inu dogs appearing in the drama series "Shiba no Okite - Warera Inu Baka Editorial Department," which will begin airing on September 30th in NHK's "Drama 10" slot (General TV, Tuesdays at 10pm), have been announced, revealing that Emoto Tokio will play Fukusuke and Kenjiro Tsuda will play Bom. The official NHK Drama X (＠nhk_dramas) released preview previews of the two dogs on the 15th, causing a stir.
The drama is set in the Shiba Inu magazine "Shiba One" and is a human story that gently unravels the tangled hearts of people. Based on the non-fiction book "Heisei Dog Baka Editorial Department" by Yuka Katano, the drama stars Shunsuke Daito as Shunichi Sagara, the editor-in-chief of the Shiba Inu magazine, and Marie Iitoyo as Reika Ishimori, an editor who is often at odds with Sagara.
Other cast members in the drama include Hairi Katagiri, Ken Koga, Yushin Shinohara, Yasu-san, Daisuke Kuroda, Kumi Takiuchi, Masanobu Katsumura, and Keiko Matsuzaka.
