The ninth episode of the drama series "Broadcasting Station Occupy" (NTV, Saturdays 9pm), starring Sakurai Sho, aired on September 13th. The episode depicted the Blue Demon Yamato (Fuma Kikuchi) and Musashi (Sakurai) infiltrating the broadcasting station to uncover the true identity of the "puppeteer," and Yamato's actions at the end caused a stir on social media.

In episode 9, Musashi and his friends try to discover the true identity of the "puppeteer" who is controlling everything behind the scenes, and at the request of Hannya Ibuki (Kato Seishiro), they decide to carry out a "hostage exchange" by handing over the custody of security chief Yashiro (Takahashi Katsunori).
Izumi (Sonin) planned a top-secret operation to infiltrate the SAT using the hostage exchange, but failed. Yashiro then aimed at Ibuki with the gun he had stolen from the demon during the exchange, but was shot by the demon Ruka (Himari Hitomi). Meanwhile, Yamato taught Musashi how to get into the broadcasting station without being noticed by the demon. In order to put an end to everything, Musashi teams up with Yamato again to infiltrate the broadcasting station.
Meanwhile, Ibuki reveals to Musashi and the others the existence of a "dark data repository" that contains evidence of the crimes that the puppeteer has concealed, and demands that Musashi find out who the puppeteer is. Ibuki then hints that if they investigate Amami (played by Shigeyuki Totsugi), Okino (played by Reiko Kataoka), and Manabe (played by Nozomi Miyabe), they will be able to find out the puppeteer's true identity, and he calls a "death press conference" with the three of them lined up...
In the episode, Okino declares, "The puppeteer's true identity is Security Chief Yashiro!" And then, despite medical treatment, Yashiro passes away. Meanwhile, Musashi, who is investigating Amami's computer, arrives at the truth: "Shimaurachigusa?... So that's it. The puppeteer's... true identity is..." At that moment, Yamato says, "That's enough, Detective Musashi," and holds a cutter to Musashi's throat from behind. Immobilized, Musashi mutters, "Yamato, you... you're lying..."
Social media was in an uproar over Yamato's sudden "betrayal." Comments such as "Ehhh, Aooni!", "I knew it! Yamato!", "Yamato is going to betray us?", "Yamato, I thought he was going to do something", and "Is there a pattern where Yamato is a puppet?" were posted.
