Tsubasa, Kurata, and other members of the child protection agency successfully protect a boy named Mineta Sora (Matsuno Koji) who was being abused by his father, Kanji (Hirahara Tetsu).
Looking at Aozora in the temporary shelter, Tsubasa began by saying to Kurata, "I'm sure I was born and raised in a privileged family by society's standards. But that was just a coincidence. So no matter how much I try to understand and empathize with the pain of those children (who are protected by child consultation centers), it's difficult." She continued, "But that's exactly why I want to hear those children's voices. I'll do anything for their voices. I think that's what 'helping' means to me."
Kurata, who has also been abused in the past, gave Tsubasa a message of encouragement, saying, "I think those children have been suppressing their own voices for a long time. They are in situations where they cannot be selfish, or because if they do speak up, they will end up alone. But in reality, I'm sure there are many things they want to say. They want you to hug them, protect them, be with them, smile at them, and cherish them. So please listen to as many of their voices as possible."
Kurata continued with a serious expression, "I wasn't sure at first, but I'm glad you came to the child welfare office. Your presence here gives those children hope. Please continue to listen to their small voices."
Although surprised by Kurata's unexpected words, Tsubasa is shown responding with "Yes!"
On social media, people were talking about how "Tsubasa has finally been recognized by Kurata. That's great," "Clutter Tsubasa acknowledges him," "Tsubasa and Kurata were a refreshing and reassuring new image of a buddy pair," "Natsui and Kurata make a great pair. It was a great drama that made me think about a lot of things every time," "It was a really good drama. I'm sad that today was the last episode. I hope they make a sequel!" "I hope they make a comeback in a special episode or sequel!" and " Haruka Fukuhara was amazing as a hero with a strong sense of justice, who is straightforward and kind."
The drama is set in a seaside child consultation center and depicts Natsui Tsubasa as a new child welfare officer, dealing with various children and parents and growing together. This will be Fukuhara's first lead role in a "Getsuku" drama.
