"Dandadan" Episode 23 "It's a Monster" Synopsis

The 23rd episode of the TV anime " Dandadan ," based on the popular manga by Yukinobu Tatsu that is currently being serialized on Shueisha's manga app "Shonen Jump+," titled "It's a Monster," will be broadcast on the late-night anime slot "Super Animeism TURBO" on MBS/TBS on September 11th.

Thanks to Kinta's efforts, Momo and Okarun repel the "invisible something" possessing a golden ball. The optical camouflage wears off, revealing a space monster. The three are then attacked by the giant monster. The entire town is swallowed up in a pitch-black void, and not only the three of them, but Aira and Jiji are also sucked in.

"Dandadan" began serialization in "Shonen Jump+" in April 2021. It depicts Momo, a high school girl from a family of psychics, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast, as they confront a succession of mysterious events. The comic has sold over 10 million copies in total. The first season of the anime aired on Super Animeism TURBO from October to December 2024. The second season will be directed by Fuuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora and produced by Science SARU.
