TV Asahi has announced that it will be launching a new 60-minute variety slot called "Dream Entertainment" (Monday midnight 12:15am, Kanto local) on Monday nights from October. The popular late-night variety shows "Hamasuka Broadcasting Club" (Monday midnight 12:15am-1:45am), "Ano Channel" (Monday midnight 12:45am-1:20am), and "Kyokorohee" (Tuesday 11:45pm-12:15am) will be moved to this slot and will be powered up to 60 minutes and aired on a weekly rotation.
"Hamasuka Broadcast Club" is a music talk show hosted by bassist Hama Okamoto and model Asuka Saito. MC Hama Okamoto commented, "For the past four years, we've actually been recording for about an hour each time. And every time, Asuka Saito starts talking a lot around the 30-minute mark, but unfortunately, the rest of the show never airs. I've always found that frustrating. But then I heard that "Hamasuka Broadcast Club" will be expanded to an hour-long program. That sounds great. I'm looking forward to it."
Saito said, "For about four years now, we have always insisted that Hamasuka is a music program (it seems that even within TV Asahi, it is properly treated as a music program). However, I've been feeling that things are looking a bit ominous recently. When I heard that it would be a one-hour program, I thought it would be a great opportunity to confirm this! I'm looking forward to seeing how we can create the program together with the Hamasuka staff, with whom I've had a long relationship, and Hama-san, who is the only reason we can insist that Hamasuka is a music program. I will do my best to continue presenting it as Hama and Suka for as long as possible."
Ano-chan, also known as Ano-san, who is known for her outspokenness and mysterious aura, takes on a variety of variety projects on "Ano Channel." Ano-san appealed to viewers, saying, "We've expanded it to an hour ☆ We think we'll be able to deliver the projects that were previously broadcast in two parts without interruption, so please look forward to it."
Kyokorohee is a popular show featuring the mismatched conversations of actress Kyoko Saito and comedian Hikorohee. Saito commented, "Kyokorohee will be moving to the Dream Entertainment slot. The broadcast time will be extended to 60 minutes, so we will do our best to bring you an even more powerful Kyokorohee than ever before! Please look forward to it!" Co-host Hikorohee said, "I'm a little worried because there may have been some good parts to it because it was only 30 minutes, but I want to continue striving to create a show that is neither bad nor bad."
