To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the popular anime series "Evangelion," it has been announced that six films, including "Neon Genesis Evangelion: 1.0 You Can (Not) Redo," will be shown for a limited time starting in October. Titled "Monthly Evangelion EVANGELION 30th MOVIE Fest. 2025-2026," one film will be screened per month (two films in October) for one week each from October through February 2026.
"Neon Genesis Evangelion Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone" will be screened from October 10th to 16th, "Neon Genesis Vangelion Air/The End of Evangelion" from October 24th to 30th, "Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone" from November 14th to 20th, "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance" from December 12th to 18th, "Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo" from January Getsuku to 15th, 2026, and "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time" from February 13th to 19th.
"Death (True) 2 & Rebirth" will be screened as the successor version to the original screening of "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time." The screening of "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time" will also feature "EVANGELION: 3.0 (-120 min.)" and "EVANGELION: 3.0 (-46 h)," which were produced as bonus features on the Blu-ray disc of "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time." This will be the first theatrical release of "EVANGELION: 3.0 (-120 min.)" outside of an event screening.
At the screening of each film, a limited number of smartphone-sized stickers featuring the poster visuals of each film will be distributed as a gift to attendees. The poster visuals of the six films will be designed exactly as they were when they were first released. Stickers of the films being screened will be given as a gift.
The "Evangelion" series began airing on October 4, 1995 with the TV anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion," and will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2025.
