The seventh episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama " The 19th medical record " (Sundays at 9pm), starring Jun Matsumoto , was broadcast on August 31st, recording an average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) of 7.9% for households and 4.9% for individuals.
The drama is based on the manga " The 19th medical record Tokushige's Medical Interview" by Katsuhito Fujiya. It depicts a general practitioner who not only treats illnesses but also lends a hand to patients' lifestyles. This is Matsumoto's first time playing a doctor, and the cast also includes Fuka Koshiba and Mackenyu. The script was written by Aya Tsubota, who also wrote the "Kounodori" series (same channel).
In episode 7, Tokushige (Jun Matsumoto) goes to the island of his master Akaike (Tanaka Min). On the island of memories, the encounter and bond between master and disciple is unraveled. As time passes peacefully, Tokushige begins to have certain "doubts"...
