Animelo Summer Live (Anisama) 2025 "ThanXX!" is a large-scale anime song live event currently being held at Saitama Super Arena (Chuo Ward, Saitama City). On August 31st, the final day of Anisama, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year, singer-songwriter Chihiro Yonekura appeared. Yonekura was a performer at the first event in 2005, and this was her first appearance in 15 years.
Yonekura performed "WILL," the opening theme (OP) for the TV anime "Senkaiden Houshin Engi," "Fairy Tail ~Promised Day~," the opening theme for the TV anime "FAIRY TAIL," and "To the Promised Place," the second opening theme for the TV anime "Kaleido Star," in succession. "It's been 15 years since I last came back to Anisama. It's a truly nostalgic sight. I'm happy. Thank you!" she said with a smile. "I would like to sing with all my heart and soul, expressing my gratitude to Anisama," she said.
She sang "Pale Blaze," the ending theme for the TV anime "9-nine- Ruler's Crown," followed by her debut song, "Arashi no Naka de Shineite," the opening theme for the OVA (original video animation) "Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team." A huge cheer erupted as the intro to "Arashi no Naka de Shineite" began to play. Yonekura, who will be celebrating her 30th anniversary since her debut next year, passionately sang her debut song.
Anisama is an anime song festival that began in 2005 and is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. This year's event will be held from August 29th to 31st, with a total of 50 artists appearing.
