On the 17th, it was announced that the band Porno Graffitti will be performing the opening theme "THE REVO" for the 8th and final season of the TV anime " My Hero Academia ," based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha). The band performed the opening theme "THE DAY" for the first season of the TV anime that aired in 2016, and after about nine years, they will now be performing the opening for "FINAL SEASON."

The total number of moviegoers has exceeded 18,270,000.
On the 19th, it was announced that "Kekkaishi no Ichirinka" (KADOKAWA), a novel by Kureha Kureha, who is also known for "Demon Bride", will be adapted into a TV anime. It will be produced by TROYCA, the studio behind "Arnodoor Zero".
On the 20th, a preview was held for BANDAI SPIRITS' new plastic model production factory, the Bandai Hobby Center New Factory (Shizuoka City), and the museum, "BHC PDII MUSEUM." The new factory was built on a site of approximately 14,724 square meters adjacent to the main building of the Bandai Hobby Center with the aim of ensuring a more stable production system. The museum within the new factory has the theme of "Designing the Value of Plastic Models," and visitors can tour the new factory and enjoy the "Be Your Own Plastic Model Designer Experience." The museum will open on September 2nd.
On the 20th, it was announced that the first film adaptation of the action adventure game "SEKIRO: SHADOWS DIE TWICE" (FromSoftware), which depicts the battles of ninjas at the end of the Warring States period, will be a fully hand-drawn 2D anime called "SEKIRO: NO DEFEAT." Behind them, the face of new character Kinta Sakata is faintly visible, with Momo, Okarun, Turbo Granny, Aira, and Jiji, who are posing for some reason, looking up at them. It was also announced that Daichi Fujiwara will play the new character Kinta Sakata.
On the 23rd, it was announced that Kenjiro Tsuda , a voice actor and actor, will be appearing in the " Doraemon Birthday Special" of the popular anime " Doraemon " (TV Asahi). This will be Tsuda's first appearance in " Doraemon," and he will be narrating the secret gadget, the Movie Can, that appears in the original episode "Treasure of the Castle in the Sky! ~Legend of the True Hero~," which is set in the world of the movie. The "Birthday Special" will be broadcast from 6:56 PM on September 6th. Tsuda will also be appearing in the regular episode "Want to be in a Movie!? Doraemon," which airs from 5 PM on the same day.
