The location is a massive underwater cave discovered on Minamidaito Island, Okinawa. This is truly "Japan's last unexplored region," and the station accompanied the exploration project, capturing the spectacular scenery for the first time in the world.

The mysterious underground space is truly "Japan's last unexplored region." NHK's underwater reporting team, along with an exploration team, attempted to film this unexplored underwater world using a cutting-edge 8K camera. Emerging from the pitch-black darkness was a breathtakingly magnificent, vast space and unknown creatures.
