The MANTAN editorial team has picked out some recommended movies to enjoy in an air-conditioned theater during the summer holidays. We will introduce the film "Kamen Rider Gavv : The Invaders of the House of Snacks " (directed by Teruaki Sugihara), which is based on the special effects drama " Kamen Rider Gavv " (TV Asahi, Sunday 9:00 AM).
The story is about the main character, Kamen Rider Gavv/Shoma (played by Hidekazu Chinen), who gets lost in a peaceful "other world" that is slightly different from the real world, and embarks on an adventure with Taorin (played by Sota Nakajima), a young man who has lost his memory.
In the alternate world, characters appear with the same appearance as in the TV series, but their personalities, atmospheres, and relationships are subtly different, allowing for a film-like development. Guest appearances include Sekai, Natsuki Sawamoto, Keito Kimura, and Nakajima from the dance and vocal group "FANTASTICS." The presence and coolness of Caries, the "strongest enemy" played by Sekai, is also a highlight.
In addition, the main character of the next series, "Kamen Rider Zeztz" (TV Asahi, Sundays at 9:00 AM), which starts on September 7th, Baku Yorozu(Ryutaro Imai), will be appearing early, giving viewers a sneak peek at the heroic figure of the new rider.
