" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." Seven years have passed since then, and Taka still shows no signs of success as a manga artist. One day, Takuya Ise(Motoki Omori) comes to the Yanai household with the uniquely aura-filled Eisuke Mutsuhara (Todo Hinata). The two ask Taka to work on the stage art for a musical.
