It has been announced that the first set of advance ticket Mubichike cards with special benefits for the second part of the popular anime "Gundam" movie "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash" (directed by Murase Shukou), "Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash: The Witch of Circe", will go on sale on August 1st. As a special gift for those who purchase the first set, an A4-sized clear file of the original artwork will be presented.
"Hathaway's Flash" is based on a novel published in 1989-1990 by Director Yoshiyuki Tomino, known as the "father" of the "Gundam" series. Set in the year 0105 of the Universal Century, the story depicts Hathaway, the son of Bright Noa, who experienced a bitter separation during the Second Neo Zeon War, piloting a new mobile suit, the XI Gundam, in a rebellion against the Earth Federation government. The first part was released in June 2021 and was a hit, grossing approximately 2.23 billion yen.
The second part will be directed by Shukou Murase, director of "Genocidal Organ" as well as the first part, and will feature voice actors Kensho Ono as Hathaway, Reina Ueda Ueda as Gigi Andalusia, Junichi Suwabe as Kenneth Slegg, and Soma Saito as Lane Aim. It will be released this winter.
