Naoki Shigeno's manga "Nobunaga's Shinobi" was completed in the 15th issue of the serialized magazine "Young Animal" (Hakusensha), released on July 25th, bringing to a close its 17-year serialization.
"Nobunaga's Shinobi" is a four-panel historical manga that began serialization in "Young Animal" in 2008. Set in the Warring States period, it depicts the struggles of a young ninja girl named Chidori to help Oda Nobunaga unify the country. It has also been adapted into a TV anime, with the first season airing from October 2016 to March 2017, the second from April to September 2017, and the third from April to September 2018.
The final 23rd volume of the comics will be released at the end of October.
