Summary and scene cuts from episode 7 of the TV drama "The Great Passage ~I'll Make a Dictionary~"

Actor Elaiza Ikeda and Yojiro Noda of the rock band "RADWIMPS" star in the NHK drama series "The Great Passage ~ Watashi, Jisho Tsukurimasu ~" (General TV, Tuesdays at 10 pm). According to the synopsis of the seventh episode, which will air on July 29, Midori (Ikeda) overcomes her past trauma and starts posting on social media. Scene cuts have also been released.

The drama is based on Shion Miura's bestselling novel, and depicts the passion of people working on dictionaries from the perspective of Midori Kishibe (played by Ikeda), a young editorial staff member who has been transferred to the dictionary editorial department. Noda plays the protagonist of the novel, Mitsuya Majime, the head of the dictionary editorial department who is an extremely earnest person. The drama has been broadcast on terrestrial TV since June 17th in the "Drama 10" slot.

In the seventh episode, Majime (Noda) enlists the help of Nishioka (Osamu Mukai) to make a book design offer to the impregnable and extremely popular book designer Harugasumi (Emoto Tokio). Meanwhile, as a secret plan to protect the paper dictionary, Midori (Ikeda) overcomes her past trauma and starts posting on social media. Furthermore, Araki (Iwamatsu Ryo) gains a new realization through an unexpected encounter.

And finally, the day arrives for the fateful board presentation to persuade the company president, Igarashi (Shinichi Tsutsumi)...and so the story unfolds.
