The double theme songs for the upcoming film version of the anime " Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Yaiba" based on the popular manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, " Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle Arc Chapter 1: Akaza Returns," "A World Where the Sun Does Not Rise" sung by Aimer and "Shine in a Cruel Night" sung by LiSA, are now available on various music distribution stores.
Aimer's "A World Where the Sun Doesn't Rise" was written by Kondo Hikaru of ufotable, the general director of the anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," and composed and arranged by Shiina Go, who is in charge of the music for the series. LiSA's "Shine in a Cruel Night" was written and composed by Kajiura Yuki, who is also in charge of the music.
The CD singles for both songs will be released simultaneously on July 23rd. The jacket illustrations for the limited edition (anime version) of both singles have been revealed. The jacket for "A World Where the Sun Does Not Rise" features an original illustration of Shinobu Kocho, while the jacket for "Shine in a Cruel Night" features an original illustration of Giyu Tomioka. The anime versions will come in a three-sided case and will also come bundled with a Blu-ray disc containing music videos for the theme songs sung by each version. Store-specific bonuses using the jacket illustrations have also been revealed. The anime versions will be priced at 1,760 yen each, while the regular versions will be 1,430 yen each.
"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is based on a manga by Koyoharu Gotouge. The story is about Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons, joining the Demon Slaying Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has turned into a demon, back into a human. The original manga was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 2016 to 2020. The total number of copies of the comics sold worldwide is over 220 million.
The TV anime "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc: Mugen Train" was released in October 2020. The "Entertainment District Entertainment District Arc" aired from December 2021 to February 2022, the "Swordsmith Village Arc" from April to June 2023, and the "Hashira Training Arc" from May to June 2024. The "Infinity Castle Arc" movie is a trilogy, with the first chapter released on July 18th.
