To commemorate the release of the new movie version of the anime " Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Yaiba", based on the popular manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, " Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle Arc Chapter 1: Akaza Returns", on July 18th, it has been announced that the payment app "PayPay" will be taking on a new initiative, the first of its kind in Japan. The design of the "send/receive" screen will now be able to be changed to "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" and a checkered pattern design with a motif of Tanjiro Kamado. This will be available for a limited time from July 18th to October 17th.
It was also announced that "Character AR Photo Spots" will be available in theaters nationwide from July 18. Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke will appear at the same time, and you can enjoy different Tanjiro greetings in each prefecture.
"Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is based on a manga by Koyoharu Gotouge. The story is about Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons, joining the Demon Slaying Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has turned into a demon, back into a human. The original was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 2016 to 2020. The total number of copies of the comics published is over 150 million.
The TV anime "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc: Mugen Train" was released in October 2020. The "Entertainment District Entertainment District Arc" aired from December 2021 to February 2022, the "Swordsmith Village Arc" from April to June 2023, and the "Hashira Training Arc" from May to June 2024.
