◇The following contains spoilers.
In the first episode, one year after the airport takeover incident, Musashi, who has become a BCCT investigator, faces the "worst day in history." An armed group wearing monster masks and calling themselves "Yokai" takes over "TV Nippon," which is broadcasting a special election program for the Tokyo gubernatorial election. They threaten, "We, the Yokai, have taken over this broadcasting station. If you stop broadcasting, we will kill all the hostages."
There are 500 hostages. The Tokyo gubernatorial candidate, the program staff, the Caster, the actor, and Musashi's wife Yuko and daughter Emiri, who happened to be at the scene, are also in danger.
Together with Sakura (Sonin), Shima (Gunpii), Honjo (Kumi Takiuchi), and his new allies from the Metropolitan Police Department, Musashi attempts to rescue the hostages and "defeat the monsters"... and so the story unfolds.
In this episode, after the Yokai take over the broadcasting station, Musashi meets up with Yuko and Emiri, who have escaped, and tries to help them escape through the air duct. However, he sees members of the Yokai on the path to the duct. When Yuko asks Musashi, "How do we get there?", he points to the ceiling of the studio where the Yokai and the hostages are and answers, "We have no choice but to go through there." Hearing this, Emiri mutters, "You're kidding... right?"
On social media, Emiri's tweet became a hot topic, as Musashi's catchphrase is "You're kidding!" Comments included, "I told you you're kidding!", "They have the same catchphrase lol", "He's picked up his dad's catchphrase lol", "They're father and son after all", and "Emiri's 'You're kidding' is so cute".
