"Kingdom"'s first children's book "Kingdom Four-character Idiom Dictionary" to be released

The first children's book based on the popular manga "Kingdom" by Yasuhisa Hara, "Kingdom Four-Character Idiom Dictionary" (Shueisha), will be released on July 17. The book matches 131 four-character idioms that elementary school students should remember with famous scenes from "Kingdom" and introduces them in an easy-to-understand way with explanations and example sentences.

Brave phrases such as "Ikki tousen" (a thousand warriors) and "Swift wind and lightning" are introduced alongside flashy battle scenes, while intellectual phrases such as "Political intrigue" and "Flexibility" are introduced alongside scenes of strategists negotiating. A four-character phrase quiz is also included.
