It was revealed on July 10th that the popular group Snow Man has achieved first place in the first half of the year for the fourth time in the total ranking of the "Artist Sales Category" of the "Oricon First Half Ranking 2025."
Snow Man took the top spot in the "Artist Sales" total ranking, which lists the total sales of singles, albums, music DVDs/Blu-rays, digital singles, digital albums, and streaming by artist. They sold 8.52 billion yen during the collection period (December Getsuku, 2024 to June 8, 2025), making this their fourth time to top the ranking, following their debut in 2021, 2022, and 2024. This is the first time in history that the same artist has achieved this feat since the ranking began in 2009.
Sales figures also rose four years in a row from 2021 to 4.92 billion yen (2021), 6.01 billion yen (2022), 7.32 billion yen (2023), and 8.46 billion yen (2024). The group's first best album, "THE BEST 2020 - 2025," released in January 2025, and the digital version of the album, distributed in April, were major drivers of the record.
In second place on the ranking was Mrs. Green Apple(8.28 billion yen), and in third place was SixTONES (4.01 billion yen).

Meguro-san, the fourth time...
They're all amazing...
Meguro-san: I feel really grateful to all my fans every time. I hope to keep this happy feeling in mind and continue to do my best. Thank you very much.
Fukazawa: In addition to CD sales, streaming and download numbers also contributed to this No. 1 ranking. Nabe (Shota Watanabe) - please say a few words to everyone who listened to the song.
Watanabe: Since the beginning of this year, the number of ways we provide our music has increased, so I hope you will continue to enjoy our music in various ways, such as through streaming. Thank you.
Thank you everyone!
Fukasawa: And what about your enthusiasm for the second half of 2025? Iwamoto: Please go ahead.
Iwamoto: In 2025, we will have celebrated our fifth anniversary since our debut. In the first half of the year, we held concerts at the National Stadium (Shinjuku, Tokyo) (in April) and Nissan Stadium (Kohoku, Yokohama) (in June), but I think we can still hold concerts...maybe...I think we can still do it (secretly).
Daisuke Sakuma, you may still have a chance...!
Iwamoto: We hope to have a great second half of the year with the help of all the customers who come to see us and the support staff who help us achieve so many of the things we want to do, so please continue to support Snow Man in the second half of 2025!
Iwamoto-san, that's it!
They were all Snow Man!
