The final episode of the TV Tokyo drama series " Otto yo, shinde kurenai ka " (Mondays 11:06 p.m.), starring Yumi Adachi, Saki Aibu, and Sayaka Isoyama , was broadcast on June 23rd. At the end, there was a scene where Maya (Adachi) muttered "certain words" and smiled, which caused a stir on social media.

In the final episode, Maya decides to face her husband Mitsuhiro (Takezai Terunosuke) once again and heads to a camp to reconcile. After spending the night in the mountains, Maya and Mitsuhiro look out at the sea the next morning. Mitsuhiro tells Maya, "I love you," but suddenly begins to strangle her.
Mitsuhiro has not forgiven Maya for once telling him, "I wish you'd die!" and continues to strangle Maya, saying, "Do you know how it feels when someone you love tells you to die!", but Maya hits Mitsuhiro with a nearby rock and pushes him off a cliff.
After being thrown off the cliff, Mitsuhiro gets up, covered in blood, but at that moment, a large bear approaches Mitsuhiro. Mitsuhiro mutters, "Maya..." and is attacked by the bear right in front of Maya... and so the story unfolds.
Afterwards, Maya, Riko (Aibu), and Yurika (Isoyama) look on as Mitsuhiro, who was attacked by a bear and lost his life, is cremated. Later, the three of them gather again at a restaurant, order bear hotpot, and toast. In the final scene, Maya picks up some meat from the pot with her chopsticks, murmurs to the meat, "Don't kill me," and puts it in her mouth, smiling.
