The visuals for the Kanto and Tohoku regions of the "All Japan Project [Children of the 47 Prefectures]" of the TV anime "Oshi no Ko," based on the popular manga serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha), have been released. The project will feature characters from "Oshi no Ko" that represent each of the 47 prefectures, and will develop a plan to get people all over Japan to support the series, and 13 visuals for the Kanto and Tohoku regions have been released.
It has also been revealed that the "TV Anime [Oshi no Ko] Kanto Summer Festival" event will be held on September 14th and 15th at Tokorozawa Sakura Town (Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture). An outdoor Pieyon Odori square will be set up where you can enjoy Bon Odori with Pieyon and costumed characters to the music of the series. There will also be a talk event with Takeo Otsuka, Yurie Igoma, Megumi Han, Manaka Iwami, and Okubo Rumi.
It was also announced that the work will be exhibited at the Aomori Nebuta Festival, Sendai Tanabata Festival, and Sand Craft 2025 in Mitane, and that collaboration products with local specialty sweets such as "Tyrolean," "Fugamaki," "Bunmeido," "Kinari na Ringo," "Dutch Senbei," and "Namahage no Okumimono" will be sold.
"Oshi no Ko " is a popular manga written by Aka Akasaka , who Kaguya-sama: Love Is War ", and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari , who is also known for " Scum's Wish ". It was serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" from April 2020 to November 2024. It depicts the story of a twin brother and sister left behind by a genius idol named Ai, who suddenly dies.
