The 55th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM and others) was broadcast on June 13th, and viewers were drawn to the preview of the 12th episode, "Justice that Doesn't Reverse," which was released after the main story.
In the 55th episode, the Kokura Regiment is ordered to mobilize, and Takashi ( Takumi Kitamura) is sent to China. The day before departure, while the squad members are drinking and having fun, Takashi thanks Yagi (Satoshi Tsumabuki), who is gazing at the stars alone, and gives him a sketch of Yagi's profile. Takashi wants to return alive at all costs, and Yagi gives him some advice... and so the story unfolds.
In the preview for the next week's episode, which was released after the main story ended, Nobu (Imada) is seen standing in a burnt ruin and the words "The war never ends." Ranko (Yuumi Kawai) supports Meiko (Nanoka Hara) and screams "Big sister!"
"How is this a just war?" says Takashi. Soldiers are suffering from food shortages, gobbling food and eating weeds. Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi) sadly says, "That's what war is all about," and injured soldiers are shown lying on the ground. After Takashi says, "I want to eat the Anpan we all ate together again," he collapses on the Chinese soil.
With the preview for next week expected to be even more brutal than week 11, comments on social media included, "The preview is already gruesome enough," "It's so hellish I wonder if I'll be able to endure it...," "I'm already screaming after seeing next week's preview," and "It looks like it's going to be an even tougher week, I'm trembling. I want to be even more prepared than this week to watch it through."
