The ninth episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama " Caster " starring Hiroshi Abe (Sunday 9pm) was broadcast on June 8th. There was a scene in which Shindo (Abe), who had lost his friend, gave a passionate speech on live broadcast, which became a hot topic among viewers.

Instead of Shindo, who was the target, Yamai (Takuma Otoo) was caught in a gas explosion and died. Immediately afterwards, "Newsgate" aired, and Yamai's case was reported as the top news.
"The gas explosion happened right in front of my eyes," Shindo explained during a live broadcast from the scene. He revealed that Yamai had been in Ashine village due to a recent forest fire, and that his father, Kazuo (Yamamoto Manabu), had gone missing and his life was in danger. "I don't know how much he wanted to find his father in his heart, but he didn't leave his post. His journalistic spirit kept him at the scene," he said, reflecting on Yamai's actions.
"For him, journalism was not just a job, it was a way of life. I have great respect for him and am proud to have been able to stand on the scene with him," said Shindo with passion. "If this was not just an accident, but a murder committed by someone, we will never forgive it. We are prepared to investigate thoroughly."
