A documentary music video (MV) for "Silver Dress (Orchestral Version)," a song by singer Hiroko Moriguchi that will be included in "GUNDAM SONG COVERS -ORCHESTRA-," a spin-off of the "GUNDAM SONG COVERS" album series that covers songs from the popular anime "Gundam" series, has been released on YouTube.
"Silver Dress" is a famous song that was played as an insert song in the 20th episode of "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam", "The Scorching Escape", and an orchestral version will be included. The music video follows the recording process.
The final chapter of the "GUNDAM SONG COVERS" series, "3," was released in 2022, but in response to calls for an encore, a spin-off with the concept of "Hiroko Moriguchi x Gundam Song x Full Orchestra" will be released on June 18th. The Japan Pops Orchestra (Tacticato Orchestra), formed by young musicians active both in Japan and abroad, will cover a total of 10 songs, including self-covers of Moriguchi's signature songs "Ai wo Komete Mizu no Hoshi e" and "ETERNAL WIND ~Hohoemi wa Hikaru Kaze no Naka~," in orchestral arrangements.
