The sixth episode of the TV drama "PJ: Air Rescue Team" (TV Asahi, Thursdays 9pm), starring actor Seiyo Uchino, aired on May 29th, and viewers were shocked by the sudden turn of events at the end.

The film depicts students aiming to become rescuers for the Air Rescue Wing of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, an elite rescue unit known as the "last line of defense" for saving lives, as they go through rigorous training under the strict and unconventional instructor Usami (Uchino).
A large-scale disaster caused by a linear rain band occurs in Nagano Prefecture. As the local police and fire departments are unable to cope with the situation on their own, rescue worker Nishina (Hamada Gaku), who just gave birth to his second child, is called in to help. Nishina and his team conduct rescue operations in a half-destroyed school building on a cliff. Just as they complete the rescue and are about to leave, with the risk of the mountain slope collapsing, Nishina hears a faint cry coming from deep inside the school building.
Nishina tries to go to the school to help, but his friends stop him, saying, "We don't have permission to scout inside the house," and "It's dangerous inside!" But Nishina, with a determined look on his face, declares, "I can hear the children crying. They're crying for help! They're crying because they don't want to die! Where are the adults who won't save the future?" and heads into the school building to help the children.
The final scene showed the school building being crushed by a collapsing slope, with Nakabayashi (Takagishi Hiroyuki) crying out in anguish, "Nishina-saaaan!!" as he hoisted the rescued people onto the helicopter.
On social media, viewers were quick to comment, saying things like, "Nishina-san, please come back alive - I can't wait until next week...", "Nishina-san going to save a child... I was overcome with so many emotions and it was painful - I hope he is saved!!", "Nishina-san! I found myself shouting out too - I hope he is safe (I am serious)", "Nishina-san, please stay alive", and "For the next week, I will be thinking about Nishina-san all the time."
