The idol group "Hinatazaka46" held a two-day live concert "BRAND NEW LIVE 2025 'OVER THE RAINBOW'" at the National Yoyogi Stadium First Gymnasium (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo) on May 28 and 29. At the end of the second day's performance, second-generation member Suzuka Tomita, who announced her graduation from the group, gave a speech.
This was the first live performance for the new lineup, with all the first-generation members who built the foundation of the group having graduated and the new fifth-generation members joining. Tomita said with a smile, "There were many challenges, such as dance tracks, remixes of songs, and all of us performing songs by the first-generation members, but seeing everyone not complaining and taking on the challenges despite the difficulties gave me energy. I think all of you Ohisama (nickname for Hinatazaka46 fans) could feel that too."
Looking at the venue dyed in purple, the color of Tomita's glow sticks, she expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you for the penlights!" and added, "I hope that Hinatazaka46 will continue to be a group that never complains about any challenge, that is able to take on many challenges, and that people want to see take on more challenges. Everyone, please support Hinatazaka46!" A huge cheer rang out from the "Ohisama" audience, responding to Tomita's wishes.
