It has been revealed that ASH, the vocalist of the band ASH DA HERO, will be performing the opening theme song "BRIGHT EYES" for the new special effects drama "Ultraman Omega" in the "Ultraman" series. It was also announced that singer MindaRyn will be performing the first ending theme song "Missing Link." ASH will be performing the rap part in "Missing Link." Musician NARASAKI will be creating the accompaniment for the show.
ASH commented, "It feels like a dream to be involved with Ultraman, who I've loved since I was a child. I want to tell my childhood self when I used to send letters to Ultraman. Both "BRIGHT EYES" and "Missing Link" are songs that depict the importance of believing in yourself. I hope these songs will give you courage."
MindaRyn, who sang the ending theme "BLACK STAR" for "Ultraman Blazar" in 2023, said, "I am truly moved to be in charge of the ending theme for the Ultraman series again this time! I sang with all my heart so that I could get close to the world view and strength of 'Ultraman Omega'. I hope that the image of Omega facing any difficulty and moving forward without losing hope will reach the hearts of people all over the world. NARASAKI commented, "I am truly honored to be involved in such a brilliant series. I have been making this production while feeling that it was fate that the offer came to me. "Ultraman Omega" is centered around the main character, an alien (Ultraman) named Okida Sorato, who suddenly falls from the sky onto an Earth where neither heroes nor monsters exist. Sorato transforms into Ultraman Omega and fights monsters, teaming up with the human Hoshimi Kosei to explore the question, "Why does Ultraman protect the Earth?" Takei Masayoshi, known for "Ultraman R/B" and "Ultraman Decker," is the main director, with Nemoto Toshizo and Ashiki Junichiro in charge of series composition. Actor Kondo Shouri will play the main character, Sorato. The series will be broadcast on TV Tokyo every Saturday at 9 a.m. starting July 5th.
