"NHK MUSIC SPECIAL Matsuda Seiko," a special feature by NHK on singer Matsuda Seiko, who is celebrating the 45th anniversary of her debut, will be broadcast on General TV from 10:00 p.m. to 10:45 p.m. on June 5th.
The program asked viewers nationwide to submit "your favorite Seiko Matsuda songs," and will look back on her career using archive footage from NHK programs such as "Let's Go Young" and "Kohaku Uta Gassen," focusing on the most requested songs from the roughly 2,500 requests received. The video and audio for the songs will be digitally remastered.
There will also be a special interview, where Matsuda will talk about unforgettable memories from his 45 years of activity and various anecdotes about his songs. Matsuda himself will be the host of the program.
There will also be a rebroadcast on June Getsuku from 12:35am to 1:20am.
