Natsumi asked Takitaka about what happened when her parents died and what she did after that. Takitaka was going to refuse, saying, "It would be a heavy burden for you to carry." However, Natsumi begged him, saying, "I want to carry it. Let me carry it with you," so he decided to tell her.
"My father died in the summer nine years ago, when I was 14 years old. My mother, who was already sickly, was overwhelmed by the stress of losing my father, and passed away two months later," Takimasa revealed. After that, he sought help from his father's relatives who run a hot spring inn in Hakone, but they threw things at him and treated him badly, saying, "You're a complete stranger! You should be grateful that they're just letting you stay here!"
"After that, I received a postcard from Lieutenant Colonel Murasakibara, who was a close friend of my father, and found out that a relative of his had been stealing my father's pension. I caused a huge disturbance in the house, breaking imported furniture and vases, and then ran away. I walked all the way back to this town."
Natsumi, who had been listening to Takitakado's story, exploded in anger, saying, "That's impossible!"
Takimasa smiled and said to Natsumi, "I didn't know that. I didn't realize it would feel so good when someone gets angry at me. I'm glad I told you, Natsumi."
On social media, there were many comments such as, "Takimasa's past was sad," and "Takimasa's painful past...I feel relieved that Natsumi got angry at him."
