The fourth episode of the TV drama series " Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective " (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9pm), starring actress Kanna Hashimoto , aired on May 13th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 5.7% for households and 3.1% for individuals.
The drama is based on the novel of the same Mikito Chinen, which has sold over 3.6 million copies in total and was also made into a TV anime. This medical mystery is about the buddy team of Takao Ameku (played by Hashimoto), a diagnostician with a transcendent brain, overwhelming medical knowledge and insight, and Yu Takanashi (played by Shohei Miura), an internist, who brilliantly solves mysterious illnesses, murder cases, and even paranormal phenomena.
This is Hashimoto's first work since the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi," and she will be taking on the role of a doctor.
The fourth episode continued from the previous episode and was broadcast as the "solution" to the locked-room murder case of an anesthesiologist, in which Takao's older sister, Manazuru (Nozomi Sasaki), has emerged as a suspect.
