The movie compilation of the second season of the TV anime " Jujutsu Kaisen", "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu ", based on the popular manga by Gege Akutami, which was serialized in "Weekly Jujutsu Kaisen " ( Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu), will be released on May 30th. The movie depicts the "blue spring that can never be returned" of the "two strongest men", Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto . Yuichi Nakamura , who plays Satoru Gojo , talks about his thoughts on the work.

-- In the first and second halves of " Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu," we see a change in Suguru Geto's way of thinking. This also changes his relationship with Gojo, but how did you feel when watching the video?
The disparity and inferiority complex that Geto felt towards Gojo turns into a feud. However, it's not really a feud between the two of them, it's a difference between who is on their side - a sorcerer or a curse user. It's not like Geto is saying "I don't acknowledge Gojo", he just decides to act according to the conclusion he has reached, and my impression is that there's a change in their relationship, or rather "he's changed his way of thinking".
The ending of Tennai (Riko) was the trigger for Geto to change his way of thinking, but I think Gojo probably doesn't feel it as heavily as Geto. It was the trigger for him to realize that "No matter how strong I am, there are things I can't protect," and "There are strong people like Fushiguro Toji who don't have cursed energy," and that "what happened can't be helped." But Geto was not like that. And Gojo didn't realize that. I don't think Gojo understood Geto's way of thinking even at the stage of "Jujutsu Kaisen 0." However, I think he understood the "logic," and still came to the conclusion that "I won't fight like that."
-What scene did you find most memorable?
Every scene in "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu" is memorable, but if I had to pick one, it would be the scene where he confronts Geto in Shinjuku. From the impression I got from the original work and from acting in the first season and the movie, I thought "Gojo is a person who doesn't get close to people". So at that time, I felt that all the words I said to Geto were a direct expression of my feelings that "I don't understand the meaning of what you did". However, when I acted like that in the test, I was told, "Gojo just said words one-sidedly, so please act as if you're listening to Geto's feelings". In the end, they end up arguing, but the opening part of the conversation was played in a different direction from what I had originally created, so it left a lasting impression on me.
--The "Theatrical Compilation" features a newly arranged theme song, 5.1ch surround sound, rearranged songs, and other features that allow you to feel even more immersed in the story on the big screen. Please tell us your impressions of watching the "Theatrical Compilation" again.
I think the best part is being able to experience the story in a theater with a big screen and good acoustics, but there are a lot of quiet scenes in "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu." I felt that this movie is very suitable for concentrating and watching in the closed space of a movie theater, rather than in a noisy environment like at home.
--A new mini-anime, "Juju Stroll: The Complete Movie," will be included. What was your impression of it?
The main story is about two hours long, and those who have watched the TV anime already know the contents, so I'm sure some people will find it tiring (laughs). I'm sure there are fans who go to see it multiple times, but once is enough for me (laughs). I think "Juju Stroll" will be one of the few scenes to take a breather. There are some gags that are typical of Akutami-sensei, and I thought, "Wow, there it is!" (laughs).
--Please give a message to everyone who is looking forward to the release of the "Theatrical Compilation."
It's a work that has been put so much effort into that it would be a waste to end it as just a TV series, and ever since I watched it on air, I've always thought, "I wish I could see it in the theater, even if it's just an event screening." I think that not only "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu," but also the developments that await us from now on will exceed everyone's expectations. I almost think it would be okay to make the whole thing into a movie (laughs). This time, it's only "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu," but I'm really happy that it will be screened in theaters. You will definitely not regret it, so please go see it in the theater.
