Actor and talent Yui Imaizumi, who announced in March this year that she would be resuming her entertainment career, has opened an official website and Instagram account (@yui__imaizumi). She announced that she will be releasing a newly written song, "Ashiato," on April 29th, and that she has joined 1623 Management LLC, a company that manages and advertises for female idol groups.
Imaizumi reported, "I have been given the opportunity to join the agency and have been supported in my future activities. I am truly grateful to be able to take a new step with such encouraging people who are walking alongside me and who are sincerely facing the dreams I want to achieve and the challenges I want to take on. I have also launched an Instagram account and an official website."
"I would like to gradually share information about my daily happenings and activities. As a mother and as a person, I will continue to grow every day, and work sincerely on each and every job. I would appreciate your continued support in the future," she commented.
Imaizumi is 26 years old, born on September 30, 1998, and hails from Kanagawa Prefecture. She debuted in 2015 as a member of the first generation of idol group Keyakizaka46. After graduating from the group in 2018, she appeared in stage plays, movies, and dramas as an actor, but will retire from the entertainment industry in October 2022 to focus on raising her child. In March of this year, she announced that she would be resuming her entertainment activities after a hiatus of about two and a half years.
