The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 am and others), starring Mio Imada , will enter its fifth week, "Life is a Game of Making People Happy," on April 28th.
" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase (1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the fifth week, in 1936, Nobu (Imada) leaves the Asada family to enter the dormitory of a women's normal school.
Nobu and Usako (played by Kumi Takiuchi ) are overwhelmed by the militaristic Yukiko Kuroi (played by Sara Shida) who teaches at the podium. Meanwhile, Takashi (played by Takumi Kitamura), a student who is retaking entrance exams, cannot imagine himself becoming a doctor. He tells Chihiro (played by Motoki Nakazawa) what he really wants to do, and decides to go to an art school.
