It was revealed on April 23rd that the comedy duo "Downtown"'s "Downtown DX" (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Thursdays at 10pm) will end with its broadcast on June 26th, and that the successor show will be "Mitorizu's Floor Plan Mystery" by the comedy duo "Mitorizu". Regular broadcasts will begin on July 10th.
"Mitorizu Floor Plan Mystery" has been broadcast as a special program six times since 2021 and has been well-received. It is a variety show that focuses on house floor plans, introducing unique floor plans from around the world, digging into the stories of the residents and the charms of the homes behind them, and solving the mysteries of the mysterious floor plans.
Downtown DX, which will close its 32-year run in June, began in October 1993. Hosted by Downtown, the talk variety show uncovered the true identities of its guests through various conversations. Popular segments such as "Viewers Saw It!", in which viewers would confront the guests with information about their sightings, and "Stars' Private Clothes", which ranked the guests' private clothes by price, also attracted attention.
