The first episode of the TV drama series " Murderous Encounter " (Nippon TV, Wednesdays at 10pm), starring actors Jun Shison and Kishii Yukino, was broadcast on April 16th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 4.5% for households and 2.6% for individuals.
The drama is a completely original "ultimate love mystery" produced by the production staff of "Your Turn to Kill" (2019) and "The Real Culprit Flag" (2021-2022). Shison plays Shitara Hiroki, a freelance writer for a weekly magazine who may be a serial killer, and Kishii plays Tsutsui Manami, a TV station information program director who is strongly attracted to Hiroki.
The subtitle of the first episode is "Forbidden Love Begins." As a series of horrific murders occur in Tokyo, information program director Tsutsui Mankoto (Kishii) meets a mysterious man at the scene of the investigation. His name is Shitara Hiroki (Shison).
