Voice actors Akira Kamiya and Yurie Igoma will appear on the program "People from the Showa Era ≠ People from the Reiwa Era," which will be broadcast on BS12 TwellV at 6 p.m. on March 26.
This is a talk variety show examining the times, where representatives of each era with the same catchphrase (nickname) face off to talk about what they feel and think about their generation. Kamiya, known as a "nationally popular anime voice actor" from the Showa and Reiwa eras for roles in Kinnikuman, Fist of the North Star, City Hunter, and other works, and Igoma, who plays Ruby in Oshi no Ko?", "Reiwa voice actor auditions", "What is breathing acting like?", "Changes in recording studios", "The difficulties unique to the Showa era voice acting industry", and "The clothing of Showa era voice actors".
Kamiya commented, "I met Igoma-san once before, but we didn't have time to talk at length then. It was fun to be able to talk to her as a representative of the Showa era. I think viewers will be interested in the differences between dubbing studios in the Showa and Reiwa eras. Please be sure to watch."
