The 122nd episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi " starring Kanna Hashimoto (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00am and others) was broadcast on March 23rd. In the episode, a commonality between Maki ( Riisa Naka), the best friend of Ayumu (Riisa Naka), who died in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, and Uta (played by Oshima in a dual role), a girl who looks just like Maki, was revealed, which became a hot topic among viewers.
In episode 122, Uta, who was discharged from Osaka Shin-Yodogawa Memorial Hospital where Yui (Hashimoto) works and entered a self-support home, visits Ayumu and asks for help, saying, "Can I stay with you for a while?" Ayumu decides to let Uta stay at his house for a few days.
Later, Yui takes Shoya (Hayato Sano) and Hana (Chise Niitsu) to Ayumu's house to meet Uta. Hana is overjoyed to see Uta again after meeting her once at the hospital. Everyone gathers around for sukiyaki, but Uta looks gloomy and says, "I'm not good at eating with a large group of people..."
Yui and the others decide to stay at Ayumu's house. Hana calls out to Uta, who can't fall asleep, saying, "You're still not sleepy, right? Let's talk." Uta replies, "You're just worried about me, aren't you? It's okay, don't force yourself," and Hana smiles and asks, "Is it bad to become friends with someone after just meeting them once?" When Uta tells her that she can't talk well with people, Hana suggests, "Then why don't you come to my place and practice? Practice speaking."
Hana said, "What songs do you like? I like Namie Amuro and Ayumi Hamasaki. My mom and Auntie Ayu made me listen to her songs over and over again, and before I knew it, I'd grown to like them." Uta looked surprised, then smiled and said, "I like Namie Amuro too."
Maki also loved Amuro, and used to listen to "PARADISE TRAIN" with Ayumu when she was alive. When Uta explained why she liked her, saying "Because my dead mother loved her and always sang," Ayumu became upset and left the place, and cried as he remembered Maki.
On social media, people were saying things like, "It's heartwarming," "The similarities between her and Maki-chan brought tears to my eyes," "I never thought Namie Amuro would have an effect at this timing..." and "Shi-chan might be the reincarnation of Maki-chan."
