To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the TV broadcast of the popular anime "Space Battleship Yamato," it has been announced that a plastic model, "1/700 Scale Plastic Model Space Battleship Yamato[50th Anniversary Broadcast Produced by Anno Hideaki Version]" (Bandai Namco Film Works), will be released on January 30, 2026.
This is a reprint of the "1/700 Space Space Battleship Yamato Space Battleship Yamato Yamato TV DVD-BOX" released in February 2008. The "1/700 Space Battleship Yamato" is a plastic model supervised by Anno Hideaki under the general direction of Nishizaki Yoshinobu, and the reprint version has been re-supervised by Anno, with new molding colors and a newly designed exterior package. Priced at 8,800 yen.
Reservations will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. on March 15th on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, Premium Bandai, and other sites.
