The eighth episode of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sunday 8pm and others), starring actor Ryusei Yokohama , entitled "The Counterattack of 'Kaneka Sensei'", will be broadcast on February 23rd. In the episode, Akabane Kenichi and Kodama Tomohiro of the comedy duo "Sarugorilla" will make a guest appearance as customers visiting Yoshiwara. Costume photos have also been released.
" UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama, depicting the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have built the foundations of Japan's media industry and pop culture. The script was written by Yoshiko Morishita, known for "Drama 10 'Ooku'" which was broadcast on NHK two years ago and became a big hit.
In the eighth edition, Tsutaju (Yokohama)'s "Yoshiwara Hosomi: Flowers of the Hedge" becomes popular after featuring Segawa's (Fuka Koshiba) name, and Yoshiwara becomes lively as customers flock to see Segawa.
Segawa is unable to handle the customers, and the other prostitutes end up dealing with them, to Tsutaju's joy and despair. Meanwhile, a blind millionaire named Toriyama Kengyo (Ichihara Hayato) appears as Segawa's new customer. Meanwhile, Urokogataya (Kataoka Ainosuke), who has atoned for his crimes of forging a book, goes on the offensive to make a comeback with his new book "Kaneka Sensei Eika Yume"... and so the story unfolds.
