A new illustration has been released for the first exhibition event of the TV anime "The The Apothecary Diaries " exhibition, which is based on the light novel by Natsu Hyuga , which was born from the novel posting site " Shosetsuka ni Naro ". It depicts Maomao and Jinshi in new costumes exclusive to the exhibition.
The first wave of original goods using the exhibition's key visuals and the visuals of the new costumes have been released. As a special gift to visitors, one of 10 clear cards featuring the key visuals will be given out at random.
The exhibition will feature three-dimensional objects and videos that recreate famous scenes, as well as original drawings, storyboards, and art settings that will be shown for the first time. It will be held at Matsuya Ginza 8th floor Event Square (Chuo-ku, Tokyo) from March 26th to April 14th. It is also scheduled to travel to Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, and other locations.
The light novel version of "The Apothecary Diaries" is published by Hero Bunko (Imagine Infos), and the comic adaptation is also gaining popularity. The original series has sold over 38 million copies in total. The story is set in a glamorous harem on a certain continent, where a young poison taster named Maomao and a handsome eunuch Jinshi become embroiled in an incident that takes place in the harem, which is full of conspiracies and rumors. The first season of the TV anime aired on Nippon TV from October 2023 to March 2024.
The second season is currently being broadcast on Nippon Television's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-ani)." It will run for two consecutive seasons.
