It has been revealed that actor Matsushita Yuki will play the lead role in the drama 24 "Dear My Baby ~Until I Control You~" (TV Tokyo, Friday midnight 12:12), which will begin airing on April 4th. It is a "crazy love suspense" story in which Matsushita plays a veteran manager who showers abnormal love on a new actor under his care, and it has also been announced that Nomura Kota will play the new actor.
Following "Zaibatsu Fukushu," this is the second installment of the manga and drama project jointly produced by TV Tokyo and Amuse Creative Studio. It depicts how veteran talent agency manager Yoshikawa Keiko (Matsushita) pours out her abnormal love for new actor Moriyama Takuto (Nomura), and how her obsession transforms into madness. This is Matsushita's first lead role in a TV Tokyo drama series.
The story begins with Keiko, who was betrayed by an actress she once nurtured, trying to make Takuto, whom she met by chance, a star. She interferes with Takuto's friendships and even his private life, and her love gradually escalates. Eventually, it develops into an incident that shocks the world.

When I was approached about the role, I felt it would be difficult to know how to act, but at the same time, I was intrigued by the suspenseful developments. I think you won't be able to take your eyes off the way Keiko's love for Takuto becomes distorted as she tries to make him a star. I will play Keiko, who is a manager but has an excessive amount of love and her actions escalate, in an exciting way. I think Nomura Kota will shine as Takuto, who becomes a star.
I look forward to creating a twisted relationship between the two characters who meet, together with Nomura, with whom I am co-starring for the first time, and delivering a drama that is full of dizzying highlights.

I've always wanted to create a work that is about my obsessions. I feel like I have some obsessions myself, and I think everyone has that kind of thing. When that part escalates, what kind of character will be born? I want to make it more entertaining, and create a work that makes viewers feel scared of the crazy woman named "Keiko," but before they know it, they will come to love her madness. I also want to focus on aspects such as "the danger that you yourself could become" and "the two sides of good and evil," and create a highly addictive work that you can enjoy with an immersive feeling that is not just about someone else, with a pounding heart.
I feel very excited and thrilled that this idea has been expanded by the screenwriter Kishimoto (Ayuka), the director Kawahara (Yo), the drama staff, the web manga team, and all the other wonderful creators in their respective fields. Both the drama and the manga have their own developments. I think you will enjoy both.
And the crazy woman Keiko will be played by Matsushita Yuki. What kind of "Keiko" will Matsushita, who has built up a career in many works, play? Filming has yet to begin, but I'm really looking forward to it. And Takuto will be played by the fresh Nomura Kota, who has only been in the industry for three years.
