Episode 1153 of " Detective Conan ," an anime TV series based on the popular manga by Gosho Aoyama (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Saturday 6 p.m.), titled "Yakushima's Mountain Princess (Part 1)," will be broadcast on February 15.
Kogoro, Conan and Ran visit Yakushima in Kagoshima Prefecture. To investigate the case of a body being abandoned on Jomon Cedar, they decide to head to Jomon Cedar accompanied by guide Kitabeppu Ayaya, who was the first person to discover the body. During the long and difficult climb, they hear the legend of Yamahime, which is passed down on Yakushima. Yamahime is said to be a terrifying monster that sucks human blood. At that moment, they witness a person being chased by someone fall off a cliff. The victim loses consciousness while muttering "Yamahime." Conan and his friends decide to investigate the truth behind the incident that imitates the legend.
" Detective Conan" is a popular manga serialized by Aoyama in the manga magazine "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan). It depicts elementary school detective Conan Edogawa solving difficult cases that occur one after another.
