The sixth episode of the TV drama " Japan's Number One Jerk Salaryman " (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10pm), starring Shingo Katori , aired on February 13th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, below) was 3.6% for households and 2.1% for individuals.
The story is about a TV newsman who is involved in a scandal and finds himself at the brink of collapse, but then decides to run for office in order to change Japan, as he wants to create a better society through raising his children. This is the first time in 11 years that Katori has starred in a Fuji TV drama series.
In episode 6, Masasuke (played by Jun Shison Shison) realizes that Ippei (played by Shingo Katori) is using their cohabitation to run for election. Worried about the damage it will cause to his image when he runs for election, Ippei begins to take steps to allow them to continue living together.
