Akari Kaibe has been announced as the fourth new member of the idol group Nogizaka46 out of the 11 who passed the audition for the sixth generation of members.
Kaibe is a 17-year-old from Hyogo Prefecture. On February 9th, an introductory video for Umibe was released on the group's official YouTube channel. The video was filmed in Takarazuka City, Hyogo Prefecture, and includes photos of Umibe from her childhood.
The auditions for the 6th generation of "Nogizaka46" will be held twice, in spring and summer of 2024, with a total of 11 people passing. The five members of the Spring Troupe who passed the spring audition are being introduced one by one every day, with the fifth member being announced on the 10th.
