It has been revealed that the latest film in the popular "Jurassic" series, "Jurassic World: Rebirth," will be released in Japan this summer under the Japanese title "Jurassic World: Resurrection of the Earth." Scarlett Johansson, known for her roles in the "Avengers" series, will play the role of Zora Bennett, the first female protagonist in the series and an expert in covert operations.
The story is set five years after the previous film, "Jurassic World: The New Ruler" (22). Dinosaurs that cannot adapt to the current Earth where the balance of the ecosystem has been destroyed live in an isolated place just below the equator with a climate similar to the environment where they once thrived, and the three largest dinosaurs in that tropical biosphere hold the key to a drug that will miraculously save humanity. In order to secure DNA from the world's largest dinosaur, experienced special agent Zora Bennett (Johansson) and team leader Duncan Kincaid (Mahershala Ali) head to their destination... And the island where Zora and her friends are washed up is a forbidden place where Jurassic Park's top-secret research facility is located and where the stranded dinosaurs live... That's the story.
Steven Spielberg will be the executive producer, and Gareth Edwards, who has worked on "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," will be directing for the first time. David Koepp will be returning to write the screenplay for the first time in 28 years.
