Izu Marriott Hotel Shuzenji (Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture) will be offering a Hinamatsuri-themed accommodation plan called "HINA-MATSURI STAY" from March 1st to April 3rd.
The concept of "HINA-MATSURI STAY" is "Girls' Festival for Adults". It aims to provide a relaxing time for adult women. There are eight types of rooms to choose from, including a premium room with an open-air hot spring bath, and hotel-made chirashi sushi and non-alcoholic cocktails are served at dinner time. A grill dinner and breakfast are included in the set at the restaurant.
The chirashi sushi is based on the motif of hishi-mochi (a rice cake with a diamond pattern), and is made with three colors of vinegared rice - green (matcha), white, and pink (sakura denbu) - topped with shredded egg and using ingredients from Shizuoka Prefecture such as horse mackerel and sakura shrimp. The non-alcoholic cocktail is the "Sakura Mojito," inspired by cherry blossoms. Sakura syrup, mint, lime, and the fizz of the soda express the refreshing feeling of spring.
Dinner will be called "IZU Grill Dinner ~Spring~" and will offer a choice of main plates such as chicken leg confit and grilled Izu venison loin. Along with side dishes made with bamboo shoots, wild vegetables, and strawberries, you can enjoy spring in Izu.
Rates start from 29,257 yen per person (for two people sharing a room). If you would like to use the dog-friendly room, an additional accommodation fee of 5,500 yen will be charged for each dog (2,200 yen for the second dog). Reservations must be made three days in advance, and are accepted for two or more people.
