The latest in the series that depicts Ooka Echizen no Kami Tadasuke, a famous magistrate during the time of Tokugawa Yoshimune, the eighth shogun of the Edo shogunate. Takahashi, who has been starring in the seventh series since 2024, will continue in the role.
